January 21, 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (April 10 (22), 1870 – January 21, 1924). Lenin early became an adherent of the ideas of K. Marx in F. Engels sought to apply them to solving the problems of social development in Russia. Having come to the conclusion that Russia had entered the path of capitalism, he defended the need for a bourgeois-democratic revolution and its development into a socialist one.
